Role Overview

PURPOSE OF JOB

We are currently looking an experienced individual to join our AIFM Solutions team, taking up a broad mandate across all team activities and responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities And Duties

  • Providing ad-hoc support to the CEO, Compliance and Risk team members with CDD, KYC and AML.
  • Responsible for new client onboarding and supporting wider team with their onboarding requirements.
  • Providing oversight and ownership of the documentation and tracking of new business opportunities on Salesforce.
  • Supporting the team in its annual, and ongoing, oversight duties over all clients and relevant services providers including but not limited to depository, custodian, fund administrator, investment managers, investment advisers and independent valuers.
  • Providing support in the production of Investment Manager reports for external board meetings.
  • Accountable for the billing process of AIFM clients (led by the JTC finance team) to ensure accuracy of invoices and monitoring any delayed settlements or disputes.
  • Ability to monitor and keep an up-to-date knowledge of new legislation and regulations that impact the market and JTC clients.
  • Support and own tasks specifically related to team and client regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with compliance and operations team members to ensure appropriate operational processes and internal controls are in place & adhered to on an ongoing basis.

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstratable experience in Fund accounting and/or Fund NAV sign off.
  • Able to provide detailed understanding of AIFMD and jurisdictional regulatory requirements for funds and related entities/structures.
  • Experience with Client onboarding.
  • Ability to provide constructive review and oversight of service providers.
  • Relationship management skills with keen focus on client service.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload.
  • Confident to work independently at times, take responsibility for specific tasks and on occasion, take the lead.
