Primary Job Purpose
An exciting hybrid role with work split between coaching on a self-employed basis, and hosting and managing our InRange driving range as an employee of Ufford Park.
About The Role
Roles and Responsibilities:
- As a self-employed Assistant PGA Professional you will work with our current PGA Pro coaching individuals and small groups
- Your main coaching aim will be to increase grass roots tuition and junior sessions.
- As an employee of Ufford Park you will be responsible for the overall presentation of our 24 bay floodlit driving range with InRange technology.
- Setting the minimum operating standards for the driving range for others in the Golf team to work towards in your absence.
- Support and promote National & International InRange competitions, engaging regular range users to participate
- Devise a calendar of Events for the driving range to encourage possible non-golfers to visit as a leisure destination.
- Work with InRange to identify low use periods and focus sales activities on filling these with new products.
- Respond positively to all visitor feedback, escalating to PGA Pro or Resort Management when appropriate
- Anticipate guests needs where possible to enhance the quality of service and positively promote sales to maximise revenue.
- Responding to phone calls and emails as required
- Helping keep the Golf Department clean, tidy and in line with Health and Safety regulations
- Build a positive rapport with all members and customers
