SLR’s Archaeology & Heritage team operates across European Region from our UK offices in London, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Southampton, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham and Sheffield. We advise our clients on a wide range of projects, across multiple sectors and throughout the planning process.
Key services include: feasibility and design input, due diligence, formulation and undertaking of desk-based and field-based investigation and mitigation strategies, and discharge of planning conditions. From small-scale proposals for single residential properties to large-scale multi-disciplinary EIA projects on behalf of both private- and public-sector clients, we pride ourselves on delivering successful projects and adding value for our clients.
We are currently seeking a high-calibre candidate to join our expanding built heritage team, potentially from any of the south-east offices, and to work on a wide range of projects across the UK. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertake a range of exciting projects, as well as the opportunity to have a major role in developing our client base in the Built Environment sector.
About your role
You will have a fantastic opportunity to support the ongoing development of our built heritage advisory team with a particular focus on delivering a range of projects within the built environment sector of varying scales, for a diverse range of clients and in a variety of national and regional historic contexts.
Commensurate with your experience, you will be delivering projects ranging from the research, preparation of and contribution to appraisal and feasibility studies, heritage statements and impact assessments, desk-based assessments, statements of significance, listed building consent applications, listing enhancements/delistings, conservation management plans and master planning, and retrofitting guidance and assessments.
