Position Summary

Reporting to the VP, Global HR, the Associate Director, HR Operations International will lead and manage the HR Operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services across the International organization. This role will be responsible for overseeing HR processes, systems, and policies, and will play a key role in driving HR operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage HR Coordinator International, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services and support to employees and managers
  • Provide direction and oversight for HR operations International, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Oversee the administration of HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes, within International
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across all International markets
  • Responsible for ensuring HR systems are maintained accurately and efficiently, including HRIS and workflows with Payroll function
  • Ensure all international processes are compliant with each country
  • Lead the management of and oversee the day-to-day running of benefit and pension schemes across International, holding an expert understanding to ensure Amicus is providing attractive solutions to employees
  • Support the VP Global HR with compensation strategies and provide localised insight
  • Identify and implement best practices in HR operations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees
  • Support the management of annual HR processes, including performance appraisals and talent reviews
  • Lead and manage HR projects to ensure timely and quality delivery
  • Establish and maintain project tracking systems
  • Establish budget management tracking systems and support the VP, Global HR in maintaining an accurate budget

Requirements

Educational Requirements

CIPD level 5 or equivalent qualification

Professional Work Experience Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Benefits & HR operations, with a focus on providing high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Benefits and HR Operations experience working across multiple geographies (EU, Australia, Japan etc…)
  • Experience in managing HR teams and leading HR projects

Experience And Skills

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of handling employee and external customer queries professionally and diplomatically
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Travel

  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Position is hybrid with required days in the office being Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
