Job Title: Associate – Index Equity Product Marketing

Location: London, UK

Working Model: Hybrid – 4 days in the office, 1 day remote

Salary: up to £350 per day


Overview

A leading global investment firm is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Associate to join its Index Equity Product Marketing team, supporting strategic marketing initiatives across EMEA


This role sits within the firm’s equities pillar and focuses on products aligned with sustainability themes, sector-based strategies (such as healthcare, utilities, financials), and precision equity offerings


The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in ETFs or broader asset management and be passionate about simplifying complex investment topics into clear, compelling narratives


This is a high-visibility opportunity suited to someone with strong project management skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and Execute Strategy

  • Lead the execution of the product marketing strategy for index equity ETFs in EMEA
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across product, communications, legal, compliance, and sales to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Maintain up-to-date insights on competitor offerings, market trends, and client needs to inform marketing and product positioning
  • Support the development of a comprehensive product marketing roadmap for equity strategies with a focus on strategic prioritisation and measurable impact

Content Development and Messaging

  • Craft persuasive narratives and marketing messages around index equity products including sustainable, thematic, sector-specific, and precision equity solutions
  • Develop content across digital, print, and presentation formats under tight deadlines
  • Translate complex investment strategies and ESG considerations into simple, client-relevant language
  • Contribute to the design and upkeep of digital product experiences and content including website content and thought leadership pieces
  • Assist with internal training content to equip teams with relevant messaging on topics such as sustainability and thematic investing


Drive Scaled Distribution

  • Support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns for new product launches, enhancements, and thought leadership in coordination with stakeholders across the firm
  • Work with digital marketing, campaigns, and distribution teams to ensure consistent messaging across multiple channels including web, social, email, and paid media
  • Optimise content delivery across scalable platforms to maximise audience reach and impact


Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in asset management, ETFs, product marketing, corporate strategy, or related investment-focused roles
  • Strong familiarity with index-based investing, equity strategies, and ESG-related products
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a talent for turning technical content into engaging narratives
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working across teams and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders including index providers such as S&P, MSCI, and Bloomberg
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to apply critical thinking to evolving regional and cultural market dynamics particularly related to sustainability
  • High attention to detail, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Bachelor’s degree with a record of academic and professional achievement
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and adaptable team player
