Role Description
The Growth Finance Associate Relationship Manager will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Relationship Management team with the onboarding and administration of new and existing clients.
In addition to the service and relationship aspects, the role will also assist with maintaining up to date internal reporting and general day to day activities on the portfolio required to run the client’s facilities effectively.
Principal Accountabilities
- Support Relationship Managers in their regular client activities with preparation of client monthly information including management accounts and borrowing bases to be reviewed.
- Engagement with other relevant functional areas of the bank, particularly Business Development and Transaction Management teams to ensure effective collaboration, seamless onboarding and awareness of changes in policies/processes.
- Contribute to the production of monthly portfolio reporting.
- Working closely and collaboratively with all areas of Allica to ensure a seamless and professional service is always provided, and to provide ongoing direction as to where Allica’s product and software development should focus to provide greatest benefit to customers and efficiency over time.
- Complying with all mandatory policies and develop and adhere to operational procedures to maintain a strong internal control environment.
Personal Attributes & Experience
- An ambitious and naturally proactive individual, eager to contribute to the success of a small, developing team. Customer focus, attention to detail, and strong initiative will be key personal attributes.
- A desire to learn how to interpret detailed financial information including balance sheet and cash forecasting, assess funding requirements and model the impact of sensitivities to such forecasts.
- You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Desire to help the bank and its customers achieve their goals and ambitions.
- Experience of working competently with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience of working with different business functions to specific deadlines, with strong organisational skills.
- You'll have experience in supporting a strong culture, through maintaining high standards and performance.
Desirable
- Demonstrated ability to deliver meaningful results and drive improvements through a range of experiences and projects.
- Driven by a desire to grow professionally and build experience.
- Knowledge of finance and/or experience engaging with SME clients or stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid working setup, with strong communication and self-management skills.
