Description

We’re a national law firm with a local reach. Our philosophy is ‘we're legal and financial experts that care’ – something you’ll find in the way we work with our clients and how we support our teams. But we’re more than just a law firm – we’re a team of people working together to help individuals and businesses navigate life’s ups and downs. Working here you’ll feel a part of our friendly and inclusive environment.

We’ll value you for who you are and what you bring. We support each other and push boundaries to achieve incredible things and make a real difference to our clients and communities.

We're always looking to support our colleagues to work in a way that works best for them and everyone else, including our clients, the business and the regulators. Please speak to a member of our Recruitment and Onboarding team for more information.

Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

Our Team

As the leading clinical and medical negligence law firm in the UK, we know how to make a positive difference to our clients’ lives. Our experienced medical negligence solicitors take the time to understand what clients are going through, helping them get the answers and compensation they deserve. Our clinical negligence team has extensive experience in clinical negligence claims arising from areas such as obstetric, neonatal, anaesthetic, neurosurgical, cardiac and psychiatric care.

Our solicitors have years of experience making a variety of medical negligence cases including but not limited to:

  • Accident & Emergency claims
  • Cancer claims
  • Cerebral Palsy claims
  • GP negligence claims

You can read about our client stories here.

Your Role

You’ll provide quality legal advice to the firm’s clients by appropriate supervision and training and managing your own caseload from the outset. You will have the opportunity to manage or assist on high value complex cases.

Your aim will be to obtain interim payments wherever possible, so that we can put rehabilitation, a care package, therapy and suitable accommodation (where relevant) in place before the claim is concluded. As a team, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life of our clients.

You’ll join the London Team, working alongside leading, award-winning Partners Richard Kaysar and Alexandra Winch who have a wealth of experience in helping clients who have suffered life changing and catastrophic injuries as a consequence of Medical Negligence, representing both adults and children.

Richard Kaysar represents people and their families who have suffered injury, particularly major spinal cord injury and brain damage. He specialises in birth injury, brain injury, spinal cases, meningitis and encephalitis, delayed cancer diagnosis and fatal cases with a specialism in maternal death cases. He has worked in inquests and does a lot of work with hospitals and medical conferences to speak publicly about improving patient safety and medical treatment.

Alexandra Winch represents clients who have sustained severe injuries including neurological injures, spinal cord injuries and amputations. She focuses on children who have suffered severe neurological injuries at birth such as a cerebral palsy, clients who have experienced misdiagnosis or a delay in treatment and amputee claims. Some of her cases have been featured in the media.

  • Manging own caseload of High Value cases in line with your experience.
