Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures on the Azure platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements, translating them into effective Azure solutions.
- Guide the development team in best practices for cloud-based application design, ensuring adherence to Azure architectural principles and guidelines.
- Stay current with Azure services and industry trends, driving innovation and continuous improvement in our cloud offerings.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale cloud applications, preferably on the Azure platform.
- Deep understanding of Azure services and familiarity with key components like Virtual Machines, Storage, SQL Database, Logic Apps, and more.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and patterns, and experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and serverless computing on Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex systems, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Experience with containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes on Azure.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
- Knowledge of data engineering and experience with Azure data services like Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, or Event Hubs.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation on Azure, such as using Azure Pipelines, DevOps, or Azure Functions
