We are currently recruiting for a Client Balance Analyst to join our team in Liverpool on a 12 month fixed term contract The Balances Analyst will review cases where there is a legacy client balance to identify any outstanding payments and contacting clients to obtain payments Main Responsibilities to include: Contacting clients to arrange paymentsContacting 3rd parties such as Employers and Insurer’s, Vehicle related parties to confirm any outstanding debts and obtain paymentsConducting searches to identify where outstanding payments are dueLiaising with internal teams and stakeholders such as the Finance & Billing TeamContacting relevant defendants regarding unpaid bills and seek advice from Enforcement if encounter disputes.Liaise with Case Handlers and/or Team Leaders to advice of potential further action, such as client contact, payments or billing issues.Reviewing cases to understand if they are billed or unbilledIdentify and collate uncontactable client cases for further external investigation or charity payments.Processing Payments on PartnerUsing TechBot to invoice, bill and transfer fundsWhere possible, action File ClosuresWriting off disbursementsRunning and updating reports

What are we looking for: Previous billing / finance / ledger experience within a legal setting is essentialStrong excel and reporting skillsStrong stakeholder management and confident with speaking to 3rd party suppliers Organised with a high level of attention to detailExcellent communication skills both written and orally
