For this service we require staff who will be willing to drive our company cars, and you therefore need to hold a full UK Driving Licence. ( preferred but not essential)
Here at Lifeways in Meir we are looking for Support Workers to join our fantastic team. Ideally you will have previous experience in a Care / Support Work, however, if you are new to the role and have a passion for helping others to lead their most independent lives then Lifeways can offer you excellent training and ongoing support to enable you to enjoy a rewarding career with us.
This Service is located in a residential area of Meir, just outside Stoke-on-Trent. Meir has a large health centre, education and fitness centre. there are a lot of local shops including a butcher, optician, hairdressers, tanning shops, Hylands electrical store, solicitors, post office, numerous takeaways and café’s, newsagents, charity shops and a village hall which holds different events. There is also a football club at the rear to the property and a rugby club down the road towards Werrington. A short bus journey will take you to Stoke-on-Trent, which provides access to larger attractions including Waterworld swimming pool, Festival Retail Park and intu Potteries for shopping, Regent Theatre, the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery, Tenpin Stoke bowling, an Odeon Cinema and a Cineworld.
