Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced Block and Case Technician, located in King's Lynn England. Using product models provided by our customers, the Block and Case Technician will be responsible for working hands-on to deliver the block and case process feeding the production of high-quality resin moulds.

PCL Ceramics provides this service to the sanitary ware, tableware & technical ceramics fields.

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and completing all production processes, whilst meeting set deadlines. Daily tasks include adhering to safety and quality standards. The role will also involve providing technical support to other team members.

Competitive salary with relocation package including visa to work in UK is available if required.


Qualifications

  • Experience working with model designs, plaster moulds, microporous resins & resin mould production
  • Knowledge and experience of ceramic production using traditional plaster mould processes & high-pressure casting resin moulds.
  • Proven technical experience and skills
  • Contribution to creation of & reading & understanding the mould design pack documents
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work on complex component assembly
  • Understand basic mechanical engineering, workshop tool skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to complete tasks to an agreed timescale
  • Organised in keeping detailed records
  • To be effective working alone or as part of a team
  • Good inter departmental communication skills
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to adhere to safety and quality standards
  • Computer literate
  • English Language, bilingual welcome.
  • Experience in the ceramics industry that includes a working knowledge of high high-pressure machinery and mould technology would be advantageous
  • Relevant certifications or technical education in related fields
