We have the opportunity for you to join our branch network as a Branch Manager in our Flagship Branch on the busy High Street of Darlington. We are looking for an individual to get involved with our talented team and become one of the faces of Darlington Building Society in the area of Darlington.
As a Branch Manager, you and your team will be responsible for making sure your branch gives our members the best service possible from the moment they walk into the branch. Your leadership skills, customer service experience, and keen commercial mind will consistently create great results for your team. In addition to this, our leaders bring our core values to life, creating a positive culture by encouraging their team members to be yourself, be better and be trusted by encouraging teamwork, personal growth and development.
Working in the heart of the branch alongside your team, you’ll make sure they are fully trained, continuously supported and coached to perform to the best of their ability. Leading a well-established team to success by being the driving force behind the branch.
Our branches are always busy, allowing you to maximise your organisational skills, having an agile approach to work and the ability to adapt quickly while maintaining high levels of member service whether that’s face to face or through telephony and digital methods. You will also be commercially minded and someone who is able to translate this to results through the support and leadership of the branch.
Our most successful branch managers love working with people, listening, learning, and putting their own ideas forward. As with any customer service environment, you’ll need to be resilient, versatile, and flexible, and always ready to prioritise to achieve first-class member experiences. You will have a great understanding of the need to be part of the community, bringing this to the forefront of everything the Branch does.
