Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School
We are looking for a person to provide efficient & effective support at Breakfast Club between 07.45am & 9am each day. You will need experience of a variety of duties, including the ability to support the Breakfast Club co-ordinator both indoors & outdoors.
Your Duties May Include But Are Not Limited To
Supervise indoor and outdoor areas where students congregate during the Breakfast club session, monitoring behaviour at all times & supporting/assisting the children when collecting & eating meals on the school premises.
Encourage children to leave areas in a tidy condition and to support them with their own personal hygiene standards, including support with hygiene standards (e.g. hand washing)
Encourage positive behaviour of all children and deal with incidents as directed. Log any behaviour, accidents & health & safety incidents accordingly.
Support the children to participate in activities whilst having regard for appropriate health & safety practices.
Promote and actively support the school’s responsibilities towards safeguarding.
It is essential that you have strong communications skills and an ability to support the children both indoors and outdoors whilst eating and playing and that a level of good behaviour can be maintained throughout the sessions.
