Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Techno-Functional Business / Data Analyst to join one of our largest clients. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in delivering large projects within banking environments. The role requires a blend of technical acumen, business insight, data handling skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Functional Design:

• Analyze business requirements in coordination with multiple areas of the business.
• Draft detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Translate business needs into actionable development tasks for IT teams.
• Prepare process documentation, user guides, and workflow diagrams.

Data Analysis

• Work with large quantities of data to transform based on rules defined by the client stakeholders

Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Define and execute test scenarios and test cases to support client IT teams for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing with internal and external stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management & Communication:

• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and external partners
• Face-off to senior client stakeholders with the ability to put forward ideas, take feedback, convince them and challenge them, when necessary
• High levels of ownership and accountability with demonstrable ability to be counted upon by the internal team and the client

Project Management:

• Monitor risks and propose mitigation strategies proactively.

Qualifications:

• Experience in investment banking, capital markets, or trading environments.
• Proficient in writing functional specs and conducting UATs
• Advanced data analysis and manipulation skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with senior client stakeholders, technical and non-technical teams.
• Tools / Technologies / Methodologies: SQL, MS Office Suite (focus on Excel), JIRA, Confluence, MS Access , Agile / Scrum
• Good to have:
