FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Business Analyst to work for our client within the Insurance sector. This is initially a 8-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a Hybrid role that will be based in Macclesfield.
Our client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join the Engagement Enablers (EE) Programme, specifically the Pod Team within the Marketing Management Workstream. The Engagement Enablers Programme has secured budget to enhance their marketing asset production processes by implementing and rolling out a Content Marketing Platform (CMP) and Digital Asset Management System (DAMS) for the their Brand & Marketing (B&M) Team. This will be delivered in parallel with the ongoing Group Brand & Marketing, to enable key benefits related to efficiencies across the wider Brand & Marketing function (creating the capacity to scale). There is a need for a BA to join the their Pod workstream to drive two separate pieces of work: 1) Requirements Elicitation for CMP workflows and features, and 2) CMP Workflow configuration and comms rationalisation / migration.
Responsibilities
· Analyse data from various marketing campaigns to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actionable insights.
· Conduct research to understand market trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences.
· Create detailed reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders and recommend improvements.
· Work on optimising marketing campaigns by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
· Collaborate with marketing teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing strategies.
· Perform SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
· Help develop marketing strategies based on data-driven insights and market research
Requirements
· Financial services and regulations background would be advantageous given the check and challenge needed between marketing and compliance stakeholders
· A self-starter.
· Will work as part of small team but needs to take ownership and accountability of their personal tasks
· Able to quickly build effective stakeholder relations.
· Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL), marketing automation platforms, and CRM systems.
· Strong ability to analyse data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with teams.
· Ability to troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions.
· Understanding of lead generation, campaign optimisation, and market research technique
