Business Analyst (Salary: £60,000)
Hybrid working structure with 2 days p/week on-site in London and Ad-hoc travel to the North East with full expenses paid.
This role is very hands on, and will require you to be proactive with requirements gathering and to be a true self starter. Due to the requirements of the Business, applications without experience in the following industies will be discounted: Retail and Fashion, FMCG, Hospitality and Travel.
Role Overview:
This role focuses on gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements and working with cross-functional teams to deliver on transformation objectives. You will be working to bridge the gap between the business and technology, and to partner with stakeholders across the spectrum to fully analyse wider business wants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnering with teams across multiple business units (ex: Marketing, Customer Service, Buyers, HR, Technology) to flesh-out and document business requirements, including business process models and functional specifications.
- Create customer journeys, write user stories and unambigous acceptance criteria to capture and analyse business objectives.
- Conduct detailed AS-IS analysis, and identity TO-BE improvements for future-state process to improve optimisation and efficiency.
- Create process maps, workflows, and diagrams to recommend changes, ensuring clarity for all stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, and communicate with technical teams & the business to evaluate risks and issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Multiple years of experience as a business analyst, especially in fast paced and immature environments.
- Proven track record of gathering technical requirements, workshop analysis, documenting, mapping and process improvement.
- Relevant Business Analysis Qualifications
Skills:
- Experience working in fast-paced and unstructured environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all
- Proficiency with business analysis tools and process mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Must have experience working in Agile.
