We believe our residents deserve a place that is safe, clean and green, with high quality services they can rely on.

Hammersmith and Fulham’s Planning service is determined to maintain the council’s reputation as one of London’s best. With big plans for delivering high profile development and regeneration projects, this ambitious service has a very exciting future ahead.

To ensure the continued success of the service, we are looking to appoint a Business and Projects Manager. The successful candidate will work closely with the service’s leadership team to ensure resources are allocated and utilised effectively as well as providing technical and business expertise.

We are looking for people with flair for personal engagement with strong people skills and customer focus who can play a productive and positive role in being the best, both within their teams and with our residents.

The roles involve flexible hybrid working, with working from home as well as days working in the office.

You will need good written and oral communication skills and be able work collaboratively both within the organisation and with external organisations. You should have an ability to handle conflicting pressured situations whilst putting forward cohesive logical planning arguments on behalf of the council. You should be able to effectively manage a caseload with multiple deadlines.

As a council we are making effective use of digital technology to improve our service delivery and are keen for all officers to be involved in developing these initiatives.
