We are seeking an experienced Business Architect to join our Business Design and Architecture team at an exciting stage of growth. As Business Architecture is still a relatively new function within our organisation, this is a unique opportunity to shape and showcase its value across the company. We're looking for individuals who thrive on challenges, enjoy solving complex problems, and can communicate architectural concepts in a clear and accessible way.

In this role, you will:

• Apply business architectural principles, tools, and techniques to solve key business challenges.
• Align design work from projects and programs with organisational strategy.
• Ensure effective implementation of business change to meet strategic goals.
• Synthesise complex information and communicate it clearly to stakeholders.

Our team’s vision is to collaborate and design end-to-end solutions that meet the needs of users and stakeholders. We support high-impact projects across ONS, including the Integrated Data Service, the future of Population and Social Statistics, and the transformation of Business Statistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of business solutions from a people, process, information, and technology perspective.
• Drive the implementation of strategy and continuously improve business processes.
• Use your expertise to analyse business scenarios, communicate issues, and propose actionable solutions.
• Guide other architects in applying business architecture tools and methods.
• Develop business architecture artefacts and scalable models to manage complex information.
