Job Title: Business Change Lead

Location: Portsmouth Naval Base. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Up to £45,000 commensurate with skills and experience

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead on elements of continuous improvement and business change initiatives across Maritime Services
  • Support the end-to-end implementation of initiatives from business case development, delivery and BAU
  • Stakeholder engagement and ongoing management, including communications via a variety of channels
  • Solution management activities ranging from listening forums to facilitating workshops, including impact assessment analysis and gaining approvals
  • Monitor the realisation of benefits and support health checks
  • Ensure viable and sustainable solutions are developed that consider process, systems, and people dynamics
  • Work collaboratively with other lines of business and teams promoting a continuous improvement culture, ensuring that results are achieved, and consistent focus is given to providing a positive experience for our employees through change.
  • Undertake training needs analysis, resulting in the coordination, delivery of training and awareness sessions
  • Collect, analyse, report and provide feedback on performance metrics for Continuous Improvement activities and Learning from Experience data

Your Skills And Experiences

  • Experience of working in a change environment or transformation team, delivering business improvements and /or experience in coaching and supporting teams/leaders through Business Change
  • Must be proficient in engaging and communicating with stakeholders across all levels of the business in a variety of mediums, including different approaches to best suit environment and culture
  • Data literate – logical, analytical and practical problem-solving skills
  • Qualifications in Business Change ie CMI Change Management Practitioner (accredited by APMG) or equivalent (e.g. PROSCI), Continuous Improvement ie Lean Practitioner, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or relevant industry-based experience

The Continuous Improvement Team

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the Continuous Improvement (CI) Team which sits within the Transformation and Change team in Maritime Services (MS). As a Business Change Professional, you will be collaborating across the business to deliver end to end improvement and business change initiatives including identifying opportunities, helping solve problems, motivating teams to embrace change and creating buy-in and deliver impactful change.

This role will offer you the chance to really develop your career in business change and improvement, we will also support you with additional learning and qualifications to help you further your career.
