Job Title: Business Development Assistant/PA

Location: London Central

Full time: 40 Hours per week

Shift times: 9am to 6pm - Monday to Friday

Permanent: Onsite role

Salary: £29,036 to £30,000 per annum

We’re looking for a Business Development Assistant to assist the Business Development Manager at HCA UK's "The London General Practice". This role will involve PA tasks, liaising with doctors, setting up appointments and managing the health screening programme.

The primary work for this role involves managing the VIP pathways for patients undergoing Advanced and Ultimate Health Screenings, ensuring seamless coordination between patients, HCA Diagnostics, Consultants, and the LGP team.

You will be responsible for providing exceptional service, supporting business growth, and contributing to the overall success of our client relationship and business development efforts.

You will also find yourself liaising with corporate clients and hotel concierge as we also look after hotel guests when they may require medical assistance while in London.

What You'll Do

  • VIP Patient Pathways: Coordinate the VIP pathways for patients receiving Advanced Health Screening, Ultimate Health Screening, and concierge services. Tailor each program to individual patient needs, ensuring an exceptional and personalised service experience.
  • Concierge Service & Patient Journeys: Supervise and guide VIP patient journeys, offering concierge services and creating a comprehensive, high-quality health experience.
  • Client Relationship Management: Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, responding to inquiries, ensuring excellent patient satisfaction, and providing ongoing support.
  • CRM: Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with accurate client information and track communications, activities, and referrals.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments, including Doctors, Medical PA’s, Administration, and the broader HCA network to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery to our patients.
  • Documentation: Ensure neat, detailed and accurate records of all activities, patient referrals, and correspondence.
  • Medical PA Support: back-up and support to the Medical PA’s within London General Practice
  • Adaptability: Be adaptable to changes in priorities and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Competent in working independently and taking initiative.
  • Strong record-keeping and data management abilities.
  • Familiarity with GDPR requirements and handling confidential information.
  • Proficient in typing, computer literacy
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to engage with clients professionally.
  • Previous experience in patient/customer liaison is preferable.
  • Experience in administration and working autonomously.
  • Familiarity with clinical systems (Meditech, EMIS) is an advantage.
  • A strong understanding of medical terminology and the private healthcare sector.
  • Ability to engage in productive conversations and build relationships across diverse client groups, including multinational clientele.
