Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to drive revenue growth
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that highlight our value proposition
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately understood and met
- Track performance metrics and report on business development progress to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in business development
- Strong understanding of business development strategies, customer acquisition plans, market analysis and dynamics
- Experience in the offshore oil &gas, marine preferred, and offshore renewables industries but not essential
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite to manage business development activities
