We have a very exciting opportunity here at Capita for an Business Development Manager to join our expanding Capita Public Sector Growth Team.

This role will sit within the Central Government and will identify, develop, and successfully execute sales, focusing on our Citizen Experience and Digital Business Services propositions. We would like applicants to have experience in this sector.

This is a home-based role with occasional client travel. We're truly committed to building a diverse and representative workforce and as part of our strategic plans we are aiming to accelerate gender and ethnic representation in leadership. Your Role:


  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive plan to target key accounts, ensuring we stay ahead of market opportunities and generate new revenue.
  • Relationship Building: Leverage your market insight and understanding of client challenges to build strong, lasting relationships with our clients.
  • Innovative Solutions: Utilize Government frameworks to navigate the complexities of the Public Sector, aligning client needs with Capita's capabilities.
