Location: Greater London
Salary: £45,000 base + uncapped commission
(OTE £75,000-£80,000)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
Business Development Manager to join the pre contracts team of a growing company within the built environment sector. You will play a critical role in identifying and nurturing new business opportunities while managing a sales pipeline from initial enquiry through to pre-contracts stage. This is a key role in driving sales growth, who specialises in high-value architectural projects across the UK and Europe.
The Role:
You will be responsible for building strong relationships with fit-out contractors, architects, and other stakeholders, as well as following up on enquiries and tracking projects across various sectors. Your ability to turn quotes into hot prospects and secure orders will be crucial. This role will give you the autonomy to develop client relationships, grow the business, and contribute to the continued success of an established and expanding company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline of leads
- Maintain and grow relationships with contractors and clients
- Manage the full sales process from enquiry to pre-contracts
- Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations to secure new business
- Update and manage the CRM system with ongoing project data
- Achieve daily KPIs including calls, meetings, and booked orders
- Attend daily and weekly sales meetings to drive team success
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in project sales, with a successful track record of achieving targets
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage longer sales cycles and high-value projects
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a hunger to succeed
- Experience in sectors such as construction, fit-out, signage, or related industries is desirable but not essential
- Flexibility to travel across Greater London for client meetings
