About The Role
We’re looking for a commercially savvy, technically minded Business Development Manager to join our team and help drive growth across the EMEA region.
This role is all about spotting and converting high-value opportunities, building relationships with strategic customers, and ensuring Zotefoams is front of mind when it comes to engineered foam solutions. You’ll work closely with internal technical teams and external partners to offer the right solutions, influence product design, and help bring innovation to market.
You’ll be instrumental in growing our pipeline, shaping our go-to-market approach, and representing the Zotefoams brand across new and existing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Pipeline Growth
- Identify and approach large-scale prospective customers in target sectors
- Understand customer drivers, assess fit, and evaluate the likelihood of conversion
- Present Zotefoams as a solutions partner, considering the full product portfolio
- Support new product development by aligning technical input with customer needs
- Manage and convert a pipeline of qualified opportunities through CRM tracking
Customer & Market Engagement
- Build strong working relationships with OEMs, partners, and decision-makers
- Represent Zotefoams at trade shows, events, and customer meetings
- Actively gather and share insights on markets, customer behaviour, and competitor activity
- Keep up to date with industry regulations and technical trends
Sales Conversion & Handover
- Develop commercially viable proposals with clear return on investment
- Confidently manage the sales process from initial contact to close
- Work alongside regional sales and account teams to ensure a smooth customer handover
What You’ll Need
- Degree-level education or equivalent business experience in a technical/commercial setting
- Proven track record in business development within manufacturing, engineering, or technical sales
- Demonstrated success converting leads and growing a sales pipeline
- Experience collaborating with marketing teams and shaping go-to-market strategies
- Competence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
