The Role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Plentific, you will play a critical role in driving our growth by identifying and engaging potential clients.


This is a fast-paced, high-impact role in a rapidly scaling technology company, requiring a consultative approach to sales. You’ll be responsible for generating interest, qualifying leads, and booking meetings with senior decision-makers, ultimately contributing to Plentific’s expansion in the UK.


Your ability to communicate effectively with C-suite executives and key stakeholders will be essential in accelerating top-of-funnel growth and increasing sector awareness. This role is pivotal to the success of our sales cycle and offers a clear path for career progression within our sales organisation.


Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and proactively engage new prospects through a mix of outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and events.
  • Qualify potential clients by understanding their pain points and aligning their needs with Plentific’s solutions.
  • Contribute to the creation and improvement of a Sales Playbook, ensuring repeatable and scalable processes.
  • Book high-quality meetings for Sales Directors to deliver tailored demos and progress deals through the sales pipeline.
  • Drive awareness, interest, and engagement across multiple sectors by articulating Plentific’s value proposition effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-suite executives.
  • Create and refine outreach strategies for lead generation and continuously optimise messaging based on prospect feedback.
  • Support and collaborate with senior sales team members on outbound strategies and lead conversion.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Plentific’s solutions, market trends, and customer challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline progression in the CRM.


Requirements

  • 2–3 years of SDR experience, preferably in enterprise SaaS sales.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders confidently.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation to thrive in a fast-paced, disruptive market.
  • Proactive and resilient—comfortable making outbound calls, handling objections, and driving conversations forward.
  • Problem solver with the ability to identify customer needs and align solutions accordingly.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and develop lasting relationships with prospects.
  • Willingness to self-learn sector-specific regulations and industry trends.
  • Experience using a CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools.
  • Driven and competitive, but with a ‘team-first’ mentality.
  • A positive, growth-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning and development.
