As the largest of the NFU Mutual agencies in Northern Ireland, this is your chance to work with a group of highly experienced Partners and a large, dedicated team of staff located across two sites, in Armagh and Markethill.
As Partner in the NFU Mutual Armagh and Markethill agency, you’ll be key to the future success of this established business, benefitting from unprecedented growth opportunities in all lines of insurance. Highly respected within the local business community, you’ll work with the Partners and staff to support a diverse range of clients, farming and non-farming as we expand into new commercial markets and sectors. For more complex or specialist cases, you'll have the support of the NFU Mutual Wholesale Broking and Outplacement team, who’ll go out to the wider insurance markets to create bespoke insurance solutions. This is a self-employed growth opportunity with absolute commercial focus and the support of a Top 10 UK Insurer.
About you
Whilst useful to have Insurance or Financial Services experience, our agency Partners join us from a broad range of industry sectors. If you’ve excelled in your career in a B2B client-facing capacity and possess the following core skills we’d welcome your application:

Ulster Farming Union (UFU) Group Manager
In addition to your main role as a self-employed Partner in the NFU Mutual Armagh and Markethill agency, you will be employed by the UFU as a local Group Manager. This places you at the heart of your local farming community. You'll champion interests of local farmers, arrange local meetings and events, recruit and retain members and keep them up to date on agricultural policy. With full backing from the UFU, you’ll have access to expert advice and specialist support on everything from policy and increasing membership to marketing and media.
Combining your duties as a local UFU Group Manager with your responsibilities for running an NFU Mutual insurance agency gives you the chance to make the most of both opportunities, as the roles are intrinsically linked.
