Our EMEA Futures Business Solutions team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial services. This small, dynamic team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of multiple levels of static data within Macquarie Systems, including customer accounts, exchange contracts, and fee/commission static. The team also delivers projects related to business as usual activities and business process innovation.

What role will you play?
As a key member of the EMEA Business Solutions team, you will utilise your strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills to support our financial services operations. You will manage the creation and maintenance of static data, deliver business process improvement projects, and collaborate closely with our global offices in Sydney and Chicago. Your role will require flexibility with working hours to meet market and business demands.
What You Offer
- An inquisitive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, and experience with process improvements to identify and solve root cause issues
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus under time pressure, along with good time management skills to prioritise multiple work streams
- Strong communication, presentation, and written skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at various levels
- Ability to perform UAT testing, including building test packs, performing tests, and providing feedback on findings
- Experience in clearing and operational processes of multiple European Financials, Commodities, Energy, and Equities markets (e.g., Eurex, ICE Europe, Nasdaq OMX Commodities, LME, EEX/ECC)
- Knowledge of ETD markets, reconciliations, product lifecycle, Open Interest, and Regulatory Reporting processes related to EU Exchanges and Regulators
