We have an exciting opportunity to join the UK Support Function. You will undertake specific responsibilities to support, prioritise and coordinate effective and efficient technical/functional administrative support to teams based at MBDA's Henlow Site. Location: Henlow
Dynamic (hybrid) working pattern: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working with 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home.
Security clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British Citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a Minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel security standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The Role (this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities)
- Will be based in our Henlow office with the flexibility to travel to other UK sites
- Generate and maintain a close working relationship with internal and external stakeholders (including our key customers)
- To support and provide drive and continuity to continuous improvements in-line with EN9100
- To support with site Health and Safety activities to include site safety controller in the event of an emergency and Health & Safety check sheets
- Raising and management of capital applications
- To support with drafting and releasing local operating procedures and processes
- To support with the Workload Forecast resourcing activities
- To support the new starter induction process for technicians
- To continuously engage with MBDA's Facilities Management and Security Services and impetus tasks and actions
- Collation, distribution and management of various meetings and reviews - outputs / actions / observations
- To be the primary conduit for engaging external stakeholders on site to include vehicle management
- Site administrator for internal communications, production output and technical issue escalation
- Reporting / maintain registers: track root cause analysis and corrective action implementation to closure, site KPI's, PPE register
- Chase and follow-up on concession sign-off in order to keep production flowing
- To utilise and provide local expertise in key specialist IT based applications and databases and provide technical support/training to the Henlow engineering and operation teams
- To be a key member within the UK Support Function and participate in engagement activities
- Sharing best practice and knowledge within the UK Support Function and offering guidance and training to team members
- Participation and progress on UK Support Function personal development initiatives – to be accountable for own self-learning and development
- Discretion and confidentiality to be maintained
- Any other adhoc technical administration duties
