Job Requirements
- Designing low voltage secondary systems for power distribuŸon projects, including
transformers, switchgear, Marshalling, distribuŸon Board Control & ProtecŸon panels
- UŸlize Engineering Base soLware to design electrical control and protecŸon cubicles based
on project requirements and specificaŸons.
- Develop general arrangement drawings (GA) and layout designs for cubicles ensuring
compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and project managers to understand project goals and
integrate technical requirements into the cubicle design.
- Conduct feasibility studies and propose design soluŸons that opŸmize space, funcŸonality,
and operaŸonal efficiency.
- Ensure designs adhere to safety standards, electrical codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare bills of materials (BOM) and technical documentaŸon for cubicle designs.
- Clear understanding on the different Electrical component & its usage to uŸlize in the
schemaŸcs
- Well aware of the latest Electrical materials in the market to uŸlize & opŸmize the design
- Support the manufacturing and installaŸon teams during the producŸon and assembly
phases.
- Review and evaluate vendor proposals and technical submissions related to cubicle
components.
Requirements
Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Proven experience (8-12 years) in designing, developing, and implemenŸng low voltage
secondary systems for power distribuŸon applicaŸons.
- Proficiency in Engineering Base soLware for creaŸng engineering drawings and schemaŸcs.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, power distribuŸon fundamentals, and low
voltage equipment.
- Experience with protecŸve relay coordinaŸon, arc flash analysis, and fault current
calculaŸons.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes such as IEC, NEC, IEEE, and NEMA.
- Project management skills and the ability to prioriŸze tasks to meet project deadlines.
