The Opportunity
The role of a CAD Technician at Wintech is to support our Civil and Structural Engineering projects by producing 2D and 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technical drawings of all services. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who has 2 plus years of structural experience.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Work with engineers to produce detailed drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Work direct for clients requiring drafting assistance including production of planning drawings.
- Assist engineers, collaborate and co-ordinate projects with the internal team, architects and contractors towards design improvement.
- Work with our Geomatic Surveyors to refine and finish off measured survey drawings.
- Assist the engineering team with co-ordination of drawings with other engineering disciplines, such as MEP services.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with AutoCAD
- Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to work collaboratively within the team and take direction from remote senior engineers.
- Strong communication skills and work ethics.
- Ability to operate Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
