Here at Lifeways in Stafford we are looking for Support Workers to join our fantastic team. Ideally you will have previous experience in a Care / Support Work, however, if you are new to the role and have a passion for helping others to lead their most independent lives then Lifeways can offer you excellent training and ongoing support to enable you to enjoy a rewarding career with us.

Life at this service is suitable for people with learning disabilities or autism. We are ready to welcome a person aged between 40 and 70. The people we support here like music, sports and enjoy accessing the community, so someone with a similar outlook is an ideal fit. We will support any new resident to live the life they choose, in a warm and friendly environment.

This service is in a residential area which has convenience stores, restaurants, pubs and takeaways within walking distance. There’s a library, a post office and the British Wildlife Rescue Centre is nearby too, offering workshops and volunteering opportunities. People also like to visit Eccleshall to browse the wide range of shops, restaurants and the ever popular farmer’s market. The local Alleyne Sports Centre offers a diverse programme of activities to suit all ages and tastes with a 25m six-lane swimming pool, a large sports hall for badminton and other activities, and two glass backed squash courts. Stafford Park is a popular destination locally and is a great area for people who enjoy walking.
