Here at Lifeways in Tipton we are looking for Support Workers to join our fantastic team. Ideally you will have previous experience in a Care / Support Work, however, if you are new to the role and have a passion for helping others to lead their most independent lives then Lifeways can offer you excellent training and ongoing support to enable you to enjoy a rewarding career with us.
This service is in a residential street in Tipton, close to local shops, pubs and takeaways. There’s a local library and plenty to see and do in the local area – The Black Country Living Museum is right on the doorstop and Dudley, home to Dudley Castle and Zoo, is less than 2 miles away. Transport links are excellent – the bus stop is metres from the service and from there you can get to Dudley, Birmingham and Wolverhampton. Tipton train station is less than a mile away, with connections to Birmingham New Street, Wolverhampton and beyond. For people who like to stay active, there’s a local leisure centre and a choice of gyms, plus some amazing outdoor spaces to explore – Victoria Park and Wrensnest Nature Reserve are both within walking distance.
This service is a 18 bed apartment for people with learning and physical disabilities, people with brain injuries or autism.
