Our client is a privately-owned, international energy group with a global headquarters in central London. The Treasury function is undergoing a period of transformation and upskilling and there is now an opportunity for a driven and ambitious treasury professional to join as Cash Manager.

Description

Reporting directly to the Head of Treasury, the Cash Manager will ensure the optimal set-up for managing cash and liquidity within the larger group, including optimising collections, disbursements, pooling, and netting arrangements. You will oversee the associated transaction infrastructure to ensure the right capabilities are available at optimal cost. The successful candidate will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to minimise excess cash and interest expense, maintain adequate liquidity buffers, and facilitate doing business with the right treasury infrastructure. They will also oversee short-term cash forecasting for all entities across the Group as a critical part of the Group’s liquidity risk management.

Skills

The successful candidate for this Cash Manager role will have strong cash and liquidity management experience in the treasury function of a large and complex group, ideally with international operations and foreign exchange exposure. Strong academics and excellent numerical and analytical skills are a prerequisite. An accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) would be extremely useful. The role is based in the office four days per week, so an ability to commute regularly to central London is also required.
