The Role
We are looking for a versatile and passionate
Kitchen Team Member on a
casual basis to support the Kitchen and Front of House teams. It's important you have a passion for food, a positive attitude and be able to work well in a team environment.
The role will involve assisting the head chef with food preparation, cooking, serving food to customers, taking orders, processing payments, maintaining the buffet area and promoting sales of food items.
Please note: this role will involve working flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Your day-to-day
- Assist our head chef - you will be supporting on food preparation and cooking alongside our head chef and kitchen team
- Drive great customer service - you'll be across front of house activity such as taking orders, processing payments but also serving food to our customers
- Sales focused mindset - you'll be promoting the sales of food items in our buffet areas
- Maintain safety and compliance - you will ensure the safety of others is considered and confidentiality is maintained at all times when work is being undertaken
- Proactively support the front of house and kitchen team - you show flexibility and a positive, can do attitude throughout to help out in other areas where required
- Champion cleanliness at all times - you will ensure all areas of kitchen space and the back of house are clean and tidy after close, ensuring facilities are ready for the next day
What We Are Looking For
- Clear passion for food - you enjoy cooking and being in a busy kitchen environment
- Excellent communication - you are a confident, clear communicator with a positive team player attitude
- Proven experience in a similar kitchen environment - you have experience in a kitchen based or similar role
- Team player - you can effectively work in a team as well as work independently, willing to support your team when required
- Thrive under pressure - you’re able to work well in a high pressure environment and effectively adapt to change and prioritise work loads accordingly
- Flexibility - you have availability to work weekdays and / or weekends
