We're recruiting for a forward-thinking Group Category Manager within the Facilities Management & Utilities Category to build and manage a long-term category strategy for best GNFR spend value, that delivers “Powered by Kingfisher” strategic priorities whilst balancing sustainability, risk, quality, operational, technical, legal & financial requirements, and objectives. .
What's the job?
- Manage Category Performance in all its dimensions: saving forecast, spend waterfall, contracts coverage, preferred supplier list,
- Build and align category strategy with stakeholders which delivers substantial benefits
- Focus on delivering high quality customer service in an agile way
- Challenge & Influence stakeholder positions when appropriate using facts & data and looking over a long-term horizon as appropriate
- Segment Suppliers under management
- Implement custom management practices for each Supplier Segment, developing partnerships for optimum performance & competitiveness
What You'll Bring
- Significant experience operating in a global / multi-cultural / matrix organisation
- Knowledge of Energy Markets & Risk exposure
- You would have category management expertise and have managed GNFR spend of £100m, 400+ suppliers
- End-to-end strategic sourcing / Strategic Supplier Relationship Management
- Procurement excellence / Sustainability / Risk management & business continuity
- Proficiency in French would be advantageous
