Category Manager - FM

Are you an experienced Procurement Category Manager, with FM services experience within the retail sector, then this is a great opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Lead the retail procurement team and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Oversee strategic procurement: sourcing, supplier negotiation, SRM, and spend analysis.
• Manage commercial strategy and contract management: tenders, pricing, savings, and contract negotiations.
• Lead supply chain mobilisation, stabilisation, and transformation for new accounts.
• Onboard suppliers via procurement platform and collaborate with operations.
• Support ethical and sustainable procurement, focusing on social value and supplier diversity.
• Ensure supply chain governance, risk management, and compliance with SCM processes.
• Maintain contract register, supplier directory, and SharePoint portal.
• Draft procurement and contract documents; monitor supplier performance.
• Update templates, workflows, and process maps as needed.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations, and maintain a network of industry contacts.

Salary - £50,000-£60,000
