About the role:
At Next we have a great opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our busy catering team at our Head Office in Leicestershire. Working within our onsite coffee shop and restaurant you will play an important role supporting the business with provision and service of all food and drink.
We have 2 positions
Full time - Monday to Friday 11.15am until 5.30pm
Part time - Monday to Wednesday 7 am until 3.15pm
You will:
- Serve all food and drink within the coffee shops and restaurant
- Merchandise stock for sale
- Deliver coffee and buffets for hospitality
- Report to management any equipment faults or problems in the coffee shop and restaurant
- Operate tills and handle cash
- Record fridge temperatures twice a day
- Complete all cleaning of service areas and equipment
- Share ideas and information with work colleagues
- Ensure all customers are dealt with in an efficient and friendly manner.
About you:
- Qualification in Food Hygiene level 2
- Have had previous experience in a similar environment
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent communicator both written and verbal
- Problem solver
- Take initiative and make suggestions
- Able to prioritise own work to make sure that deadlines are met
