As a locality lead you will form a key part of our CCN leadership team. You will be responsible for the management, leadership and coordination of the Community Children’s Nursing (CCN) team within a defined area of Oxfordshire. Taking an operational lead in the development and delivery of an effective nursing service for children, young people and families, with an emphasis on partnership working and integration. You will be instrumental in managing projects and leading programmes of work to enable effective delivery of the service, ensuring it is evidence based.
You will work autonomously to oversee the locality caseload of patients. Safeguarding and advocating for the children/young people known to the service and supporting your staff to do the same.
The Children’s Community Nursing Team offer a rolling education programme, including a full induction for new starters into the team. You will have access to a wide range of NHS benefits including discounts, support through revalidation, regular supervision and various learning and development opportunities that will go towards CPD credits.
This role involves on call responsibility by contributing to our "manager on call" rota. Operational weekdays between 4pm-8am and 24/7 weekends and bank holidays. Training and support will be given to achieve competence in this.
