The 17th century Port Gaverne Hotel is nestled in a beautiful, secluded cove near Port Isaac on North Cornwall's dramatic coast.
The Port Gaverne has 15 ensuite rooms, each individually furnished. Alongside the hotel is Pilchards, a fantastic laid back haven of good food!

Salary: up to £13.21ph
Are you an ambitious and talented Chef with experience in a fast-paced kitchen? Do you love working with fresh, locally sourced produce? At Pilchards, we offer more than just great food – we’re known for our stunning views, laid-back atmosphere, and a tight-knit team that’s passionate about what we do. Our Port Gaverne and Pilchards teams work closely together, so you’ll occasionally be expected to support across both locations.

- Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes using seasonal, local ingredients
- Working closely with a dedicated kitchen team to ensure consistency and precision
- Following all kitchen procedures and food hygiene standards
- Staying calm and organised during busy service
- Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen
- A team player with a strong work ethic and great attention to detail
- Someone who values quality, creativity, and sustainability
