Stanton House is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer for a high-growth, private equity-backed specialty pharmaceutical platform (£100m + revenue). This is a unique opportunity to shape the financial direction of a rapidly expanding pan-European business.

Location

Flexible/ Remote, with occasional travel to UK and EU offices as needed.

Company Overview

Led by a proven executive team with a successful track record in specialty pharma, the business is >5 years old and has already completed ta number of strategic acquisitions across Europe. It has established a number of brands and a strong commercial footprint, now generating double-digit EBITDA and experiencing consistent growth.

Backed by a private equity firm, the business secured over £100 million in funding - comprising both equity and debt - to continue its ambitious M&A-driven expansion strategy.

The Opportunity

The incoming CFO will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, supporting acquisitions, and building scalable finance infrastructure to support ongoing growth.

• Own the full finance function, including FP&A, reporting, treasury, tax, and controls
• Partner with CEO and PE sponsor to drive strategic planning and execution
• Lead M&A financial execution: valuation, due diligence, integration planning
• Build and enhance financial infrastructure and reporting to support scaling
• Oversee group-level budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development
• Ensure timely and accurate investor reporting, covenant compliance, and board packs
• Drive working capital optimisation and support financing strategies
• Manage external stakeholders including auditors, lenders, and advisors
• Act as a key member of the executive team, shaping broader business strategy

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience a CFO from within the pharmaceutical sector
• Previous experience in a Private Equity environment
• Ideally led an exit in private equity-backed environment
