Our client, a leading player in the online travel and payments space, is hiring a Chief of Staff to play a key role in advancing critical initiatives across B2B issuing and payments. This is an execution-focused position that blends strategic thinking with operational delivery. This is a role about getting things done!


The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in B2B payments (issuing) and may have a consulting background. You’ll be expected to lead cross-functional projects, streamline decision-making, and work directly with senior leaders to unlock new business opportunities and improve operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute strategic projects across B2B issuing and payments, operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
  • Partner with senior leadership to advance priority initiatives, offering analytical rigor, operational oversight, and end-to-end execution support.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and implementation teams to ensure the seamless rollout of payment solutions and issuing capabilities.
  • Contribute to shaping the B2B payments strategy by identifying growth opportunities, particularly in OTA, flights, and travel. (industry knowledge is a plus but not required)
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across product, finance, and operations to align execution with broader commercial and strategic goals.


Requirements:

  • 8–10 years of experience in B2B payments, card issuing, and commercial payments.
  • Strong fintech/ payments background with proven project management capabilities (consulting background is a plus)
  • In-depth understanding of B2B issuing models, operational processes, and ecosystem dynamics.
  • Hands-on and execution-oriented, with a bias for implementation over advisory.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, both independently and in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with a commercial mindset to uncover and drive strategic opportunities.
  • Familiarity with OTA, airline, or travel sectors is a plus but not a requirement.
