The Pan Bedfordshire Child Exploitation Development Lead will sit within our Youth Justice Service The role will support key workers across the county to ensure young peoples plans address issues related to Missing, Slavery, Exploitation and Trafficking.
This includes supporting the governance of the strategy, action plans and initiatives to ensure children and young people are safeguarded and supported. This involves working with a large range of partners and engaging staff at all levels including the most senior level.
The key aims of the post are to ensure a coordinated, high quality and effective approach to Child Exploitation and Missing across Bedfordshire, while raising the profile of partnership working to address Child Exploitation and Missing and to increase awareness among practitioners and influence practice.
We welcome applicants from multi disciplinary backgrounds including the Police, Probation, Voluntary Sector, Health, Education and Social Care.
