Description
The successful candidates will primarily be working in schools settings across Stockport though working with other ages may also be covered. The post involves working directly with children with a range of Speech, Language and Communication Needs and alongside their families, health care and education staff to provide universal and targeted intervention approaches as well as detailed assessment. This may be through 1:1, small group, whole class/school work and involves coaching and training for the wider workforce and / or parents. The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trusts policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately.
If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £54.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary. In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £16.
