Kennedys is actively seeking an experienced Claims Administrator to join our reputable Healthcare team Newcastle.

Their expertise encompasses EL/PL and clinical negligence claims. The team provides detailed advice on medical insurance coverage, health law, and regulatory matters, ensuring clients receive thorough and informed guidance.
In addition to their advisory role, the team represents clients at inquests and judicial reviews, demonstrating their commitment to supporting clients through complex legal processes. Their presence across key locations, including London, Cambridge, Sheffield, Birmingham, Newcastle, and several global offices, ensures they can offer local and international support.
Kennedys' Healthcare division is renowned for its ability to handle high-stakes and sensitive cases, often involving intricate legal and medical issues. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Client Portals for new instructions to ensure these are dealt with in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
- Telephone calls to Court, CRU, Chambers, and Medical Experts
- Dealing with incoming proceedings to ensure Court deadlines are met and adhered to
- Operate the Firm's quality procedures and information security systems as specified in the current edition of the Quality Procedures
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all practice and client's documentation and/or information
Required Experience
- Previous claims administrative experience within a legal environment
- Proficient in MS Office packages, knowledge of BigHand or Service Desk Plus
- Good literacy and numeracy
- Good typing skills
- Ability to navigate through various case management systems
