Oakbank Primary School, Perth
The role of a Specialist Class Teacher provides a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team at Oakbank.
This role will be based in our Intensive Support Provision for pupils with complex additional needs.
We are looking for a full-time teacher for our provision (The Treehouse), planning and delivering a sensory based curriculum to a small class of P1-P3 pupils.
Ideally the successful candidate will have experience in this area, however, values, mindset and transferable skills are equally important. In your role you will be leading and working with support staff and a range of multi-agency partners and parents/carers so excellent communication skills are essential.

Skills & Experience Required
We are looking to appoint a nurturing and committed class teacher to join our welcoming school team.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate flexibility and understanding of approaches to meet a range of complex learner needs. The individual appointed will be able to listen to and be responsive to learner needs.
You should be able to demonstrate a range of teaching skills, qualities and enthusiasm to further develop and build on the valuable learner experiences within our Intensive Support Provision. You will be committed to continually enhancing knowledge and skills through working collegiately and through CPD.
The ability to work as part of the team is essential. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team at Oakbank who are committed to providing an excellent education for all young people and promote an ethos of inclusion.
You will have a relevant teaching qualification.
