Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years practitioner looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture young learners?

High Bank JIN is seeking an enthusiastic mixed Reception/Year 1 Class Teacher to join our vibrant and welcoming school community on a maternity cover basis. This post is suitable for ECTs as we are happy to support you through your first year of induction.

We are looking for a brilliant Reception Class Teacher who will:

  • Deliver an engaging and creative curriculum following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports the development of young learners.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for all children.
  • Assess, monitor, and record children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and senior leaders.
  • Foster a love of learning through play-based and child-centred teaching approaches.

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching in the EYFS.
  • Have a strong/ growing understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
  • Be creative, adaptable, and committed to providing high-quality education.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be passionate about making a difference in children's lives.
