DWF are currently recruiting for a Client Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be reporting to one of our Senior Marketing & BD Managers in the Insurance Services division of DWF, you will work closely with Client Relationship Partners/Leads, and in partnership with specialists within the wider Marketing & Business Development team, operating in a business development manager capacity to deliver high impact, client focussed BD activity.
This role offers hybrid working.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a very strong supportive relationship with the Client Partners/Leads of relevant key clients
- Drive and own the client growth plans
- Coordinate and manage the dynamics within the global, multidisciplinary account team
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the client's business and key contacts at the client organisation
- Support Client Partners/Leads to identify growth opportunities for DWF Group
- Own and produce M&BD outputs in pursuing opportunities, e.g. proactive proposals
- Be a key point of contact for the client regarding opportunities and feedback
- Contribute to sales growth through identifying opportunities to win new business through expanding the range of services provided to existing clients, and in new locations, consistently demonstrating a clear understanding of client issues and how DWF has the capability to support these.
- Identify and translate client issues into multi-jurisdictional opportunities.
- Represent DWF at external client meetings and events, raising personal and business profile with key clients.
- Support the budget and business planning process and contribution to management of relevant budgets on an ongoing basis, advising and guiding partners, leaders and senior marketing & BD stakeholders about planned activities over the coming 12 - 18 months to ensure resources are available.
- Work with central marketing & BD teams to ensure that activities such as PR, digital marketing, brand related activities and internal comms activity is coordinated and optimised.
- Report on activities and their impact in the market place and on our business - to demonstrate ROI.
- Be a key player in project teams within the wider M&BD team.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
- Experience of working in a professional services environment is essential
- Proven track record in the development and implementation of business development plans.
- Proven track record in the successful contribution to the growth of client relationships.
- Proven project management experience.
- Strong experience of working closely with marketing colleagues collaboratively to utilise marketing campaigns to enhance client engagement and intimacy.
Desirable
- Experience working in an international environment is highly desirable
- Experience of knowledge of the insurance sector is desirable, although not essential.
- Client focused approach, able to demonstrate understanding of client issues.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiating skills.
- Creative and innovative approach.
- A sound business understanding as well as being commercially and risk aware.
