Role: Client and Pet Care Advisor (Receptionist)
Salary: £23,205.00 per annum
Location: Blacks Veterinary Group, Quinton Branch
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 1 weekend per month.
Shifts will vary between 8.00-20.00 predominantly based at our Quinton branch however you will be required to travel between our 5 Branches when required (Dudley, Lye, Oldbury, Sedgley and Quinton)
We have an exciting opportunity for a receptionist to join the fantastic team at Blacks Vets in Quinton.
We are looking for someone to welcome clients and their pets to the practice in a warm, professional manner and provide support to our friendly team.
This is a busy, varied role so previous experience would be preferable but not required. Ideal applicants will want to grow within the role, and we offer funded training, including courses with the BVRA, to support this.

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the practice diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures.
- Answering a range of client questions via email and telephone.
- Pro-active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly.
- Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.
- Processing prescription requests.
- Taking payments.
- Promoting offers and services.
- Ensuring that reception is clean and well-stocked.
