A Clinical Educator for Research role was developed to work with the Senior Practice Education Facilitator (SPEF) on the implementation of a high-quality education and training provision within the Research and Innovation (R&I) division.
The successful candidate, supported by the SPEF and the R&I division, will be responsible for supporting the planning and implementation of induction, education and continuing professional development for staff across the R & I Division. The post holder will be based on the CRF and be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering clinical competencies and training for clinical staff from across the R&I Division.
We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and experienced individual with a passion for research and education, who is eager to support us in continuing to provide an excellent experience to our patients and staff. You will join a supportive and engaging team and will form a core part of our team as we continue to deliver the best possible care to our patients.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join the growing team supporting education throughout the R&I division. We provide radiotherapy through one of the largest radiotherapy departments in the world; chemotherapy on site and through 14 other hospitals; highly specialist surgery for complex and rare cancer; and a wide range of support and diagnostic services. We are also an international leader in research, with world first breakthroughs for over 100 years.
We run one of the largest early clinical trial units in Europe with over 300 trials every year. Cancer research in Manchester, most of which is undertaken on the Christie site, has been officially ranked the best in the UK.
