We are recruiting a Clinician and Supervisors to join our expanding Mental Health Support Team.

The roles will involve working across Calderdale to deliver high quality mental health support to children, young people, and supporting EMHPS/trainees through clinical supervision, skills development and informal advice and guidance.

You will join us on a permanent contract and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

What you will be doing as our Clinician and Supervisor

You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health support to children and young people in educational and mental health settings.

You’ll work with whole school communities, developing their approach to mental health.

You’ll be responsible for supervising practitioners delivering low-intensity cognitive behavioural interventions

What are we looking for in our Clinician and Supervisor:

  • At least two years’ experience working therapeutically or clinically with children and young people with mental health difficulties and their families
  • Experience in delivering CBT-informed practice and multi-agency collaborative working
  • A relevant professional qualification and a minimum of two years’ experience in a children and young people’s mental health setting post-qualification
  • Experience in delivering CBT-informed supervision at a low-intensity level/ or ability to complete relevant EMHP low intensity supervision training at an allocated university
  • Proactive, reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • The flexibility to meet service needs and be well organised, able to manage your time effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to teach, train and provide clear consultation
  • The ability to think clinically/therapeutically about client needs and improve services to increase efficiency and enhance patient experience
  • The ability to provide culturally sensitive support and supervision, and the ability to mediate successfully/resolve conflict situations
  • The ability to develop, establish and maintain positive relationships with others both internal and external to the organisation and with service users and their carers
